9 Mile Update

I Got lost finding a spot where the trail crosses the road, so I missed Pam at the 6 mile mark like we intended. Instead, I found a dirt road that intersects the trail around 9.5 miles. I wasn't sure of the timing, so I walked back along the trail and found Pam about a half mile in.

So far, she's looking strong and feeling good, although the pace may be a bit fast.

Amanda came along about ten minutes later, walking down the steepest section. She is looking strong also.

Hopefully both of them will be doing just as well the next time I see them...should be 15 miles at that point.
